windows to arduino?

I'm new to arduino, made some tests with different sensors everything is working. But I have a question:
Let's say I plu a USB camera to the LP, windows will receive the images, I guess I could make a server that retrieve the images, but how would I do if I want to send these pictures to arduino?
Maybe my question is stupid, but thx for your help
