Can we use an ATX power supply to power-up the Lattepanda without any issues :?:

I did some quite research about the 5v power source from ATX. It's from 5-10Watts. So I think it's not that good for powering LattePanda. If your power system is ATX power supply, and you don't want to use another power adapter for the system, I think you will still need a power converter connecting with 12volts power source ATX to supply enough 5v power current for LattePanda.
What do you think? Some more background about your usage and system will be good for us to help. ;)

My project is a home movie center + home automation system. And it will connect below components to the power source.

1. Lattepanda
2. Two Nos. of 1TB HDD
3. Audio amplifier (12V)
4. Three Nos. of exhaust fans (12V)

I think some power adapter for 12v or 5v with up to 4/5A will be great for your scenarios. You can supply power from Microusb or CN2 (power pins beside MicroUSB port) to LattePanda.

What do you think?

Hi all,

I'm using a shield from DFrobot that includes a 5volts regulator...it can be supllied with 7-12 vdc.

Well, I have a question, if you have your LattePanda ON and there is a power outage, the LattePanda does turn on again when the power is back or it must be turn on from the ON sw ?
Most of windows PC's go back in operation after a power outage.

Thanks!

You can just config and open "Auto Power On" feature with LattePanda official BIOS option. There're lots of info in forum about this.
