Emulation Performance? (GameCube)

I am looking to pick one of the 4gig versions, for the primary reason of a portable emulator. I have created some with Raspberry Pi's before but want more power and to be able to play steam games / older windows games. I have been comparing LattePanda and UpBoard/Core. They look basically the same from a compute perspective. Same processor and ram and X86 windows support. I have seen videos of upboard playing gamecube games https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKUudCSUFn0 I have not been able to find confirmation that LattePanda running Windows could do that. I suspect it should as it is same basic hardware. I prefer latte panda because lower power requirements, audio out jack, SD card slot, onboard BT/WiFi. Shipping / Tax is much cheaper as well. I just don't want to buy one and a screen and have it show up and not run similar to the youtube video I posted.
Anyone have experience in this area or can speak confidently that if that video uses same process, ram, OS, that I shouldn't have anything to fear?
Thanks
