(from what i have experienced this evening with my 2G/32GB LP) get online .. i used the Ethernet port... and download the latest Java (http://www.java.com/en) followed by updating the Arduino Software (https://www.arduino.cc/en/software) to the latest version i.e Ver 1.6.9 and NOTE I found it best to uninstall the supplied version which i recall was Ver 1.0.6 and then I was able to have the famous BLINK Sketch flashing the Blue LED D13 just above the LP logo on the metal screen... (Tools > Board: Arduino Leonardo > Port: COM3 needed to be done).

When i 1st switched on my LP it remained stuck at a please wait loop and then a Win 10 Recovery condition so i followed the process of downloading the proper image for the board from LP Doc (https://docs.lattepanda.com/content/1st_edition/os/) and doing a new install from scratch.

I also installed Firefox because i've used it for like....for EVER!

Just passing on my experiences because i initially found it really hard to locate any helpful info... I hope this helps others.
