Were developing a set of accessories for the LattePanda that aim to address some shortcomings that have been highlighted on the forum.

So far ideas we are developing include:

FPC Extension Board
This will extend the FPC connection from the 7" display and touch overlay

DC Barrel Jack Adapter/Power Shield Adapter
To sidestep power limitations from the microUSB and prevent random brownouts

Aluminium Case With Passive Heatsink
For effective passive cooling and robust protection

Display Stand with fan
For exhibitions or to show off your LattePanda

If there are any features you would like to suggest for these products, or any other accessories that you think are a good idea, let us know in this thread.

I'm interested in the power shield. Will you add a lipo battery power/ manager to the shield?

And maybe a header for a reset / per button? Together with the auto boot on power on it would be nice.

What will be the input range? Is it also possible with this shield to supply 12v?

I think it would be very interesting that the board would include GPRS communication module.
This way you could surf the internet with a sim card.
Especially for the issue of internet of things.
What do you think about that?

- External pins for power, reset and activity led.
- LCD + touch together in a just one piece, like cell phones screens

I realize this may be hard to do but the option to add Ardunio board shields to your platform would be a big feature. I currently program on the Ardunio platform using the Ardunio IDE and C but would like to use VS and C# to write my GPIO apps.

You could add a shield for the Nano, Uno and Mega to give your customers a good choice of GPIO pins. Or if you had to choose only one, I guess the middle ground Uno would work fine (I'd prefer to see the Mega as I always need the extra IO pins).

Thanks...
