I'm using my LP as a debian server, so I'd guess, I don't count as "average user". I really love the LP, as the server runs rock-stable with very fine performance.

What I'd really like to see is a 4.5 - 5 inch screen, that fits on the same footprint as the LP. (Maybe mounted with some spacers, that fit into the screw holes.) I could use it to display status information, so I could check on my server, everytime I walk past it. (Which is at least everytime I go to the kitchen.)

As someone mentioned the thermal problems: I solved it by using two cheap heatsinks with thin adhesive tape. ...And, more importantly, I got rid of the housing. I built a somewhat absurde contraption, to suspend the LP vertically in mid-air. Convection is now unhindered, and the passive cooling works just fine. A small downside of using debian is that I can't get any readings from the internal temperature sensor.

Im a photographer. And always wanted to made automation for various techniques of shots. Especially for remote triggering and jobs that needs precision. A mini computer is ideal for this kind of task. But a 7inch screen would be a waste of bag space for us whose travelling. A screen below 5inch will be ideal for me to bring along and also build a simple interface to command.

I am a hobbyist. I wish to have a small but not too small display for portable or wearable electronics; in this case, a 4 inch screen is good.
On the other hand, I also want to make a full function netbook with Lattepanada; so, I do wish to get a 12 inch screen as well.

10" touchscreen would be nice for my car installation. That would be about the right size for an instrument cluster replacement in my current vehicle, I'm already running the 7" in a double-din hole with gps mapping/nav etc. If I could do that I'd integrate it further with the vehicle systems.

10" touchscreen with higher resolution. And a longer cable!
And ALL specs on the LP in one place! Having to hunt through the forums for specs, is such a waste of time!

I'm trying to use my latte panda as a PC / navigation chart plotter on my sailing ship. Right now I'm using an asus 15" USB screen. It fits well on my chart table but that setup has some short comings first screen only working when boot is compleat. And second lag for the mouse pinter and third no touch.
Until now I did not find a good alternetiv. So I would like a 15" full HD touch screen with a cord of about half a meter... and it must be slim and run of a 12v battery.
