Feeding +5v to LattePanda via 24 pit Leonardo socket

We are producing a plug-in board which holds (amongst other stuff) a +5V power source. Rather than use the USB connector on the main LattePanda board, can we feed the board via the 4 pins on the Leonardo 24 pin socket (pins 21 to 24) without damage?
