Are you upset about the boot issue that’s caused by corrupted BIOS on your board? Since the board doesn’t boot, we can not use the U disk to reflash BIOS. At this point we need to use the BIOS programmer to do it.
Let's get started!
What we need:
1.BIOS programmer
2.BIOS file
(Please download the right file according to your product model)
Suitable models:
Alpha 800, Alpha 800s, Alpha 864, Alpha 864s, Delta
Steps:
Unlike LattePanda V1.0, LattePanda Alpha and Delta have 8pins on GPIO for BIOS. It would be easier for us to flash Bios.
1.Connect your programmer to LattePanda. Please be sure you connect it the right way round.
(As you can see, I powered the Alpha. It seems there is no much difference between plugged in and unplugged)
2.Now, just plug your programmer in to a USB port on your PC and open the software of the bios programmer.
First please select right BIOS chip model.
Alpha: Winbond W25Q64 (what I use here)
Delta: GigaDevice GD25LQ64
3.Load BIOS file and click “Sequen_RUN”.
4.After program and verify, remove the clip.
Plug into the power and wait few seconds, you can see the red LED goes steady and Blue light blinks as normal if you succeed. Then hold the power button, you LP is reborn.
Good luck to everyone!

Hi, the chip on your second pic is not the BIOS chip. According to your first pic, it seem you have welded the BIOS chip before.

Our Delta BIOS chip Model: GigaDevice GD25LQ64. CH341A Programmer should support this model.
Did you change the BIOS chip by yourself?

We have heard that those mini programmers cannot reflash GD25LQ64s while in circuit. Too much current drain for the CH341A mini programmers. Someone please correct us if we are wrong about this.
Hi,
I have the issue that the LPA is not taking any USB Inputs at boot and it shows a noises on HDMI and Display connector.
written here: https://www.lattepanda.com/topic-f20t21167.html
I mailed to Lattepanda and the told me to look here and to reflash the Bios like it is downwritten here.
Main LPA has the Chip:
but i can not find this VS_FX8 Bios programmer in Europe.
i only found this.
https://www.amazon.de/KeeYees-SOIC8-EEP ... r=8-5&th=1
here are the Specs:
http://www.keeyees.com/a/Products/ej/36.html
My Bios Chip is not listed in the specs i linked above... only the Winbond W25Q64BV
Is it possible to flash the Bios with this one?
Is there anything to look at with the voltage?
i think there are Chips with 1,8V, 3,3V and 5V out there.
best regards
Christian

Edit:
It is running again!
this is the setup for the CH341A Programmer tool i used... and the tool itself --> when you want to flash the "25Q64JV" Chip you have to select the "25Q64FV"
So now its working again and i can focus on gaming
And the Start from GeForce Now does not require a VGA anymore
