I just bought the Lattepanda Delta 432 with windows 10 preactivated. I tried to download the windows version of Imaging edge (see here[https://imagingedge.sony.net/en-ca/ie-desktop.html]) but came up with an error "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I searched the web and found this can be a common error when launching various videogames/applications. I found instructions to fix it here[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5pjAWai384]. The comments under the video seemed promising so I followed the instructions.

The video prompted me to download the .dll files (32bit and 64bit) here[https://www.sts-tutorial.com/download/vcruntime140].

It then prompted me to copy the vcruntime140.dll(32bit) file to C:\Windows\System32 and the vcruntime140.dll(64bit) file to C:\Windows\SysWOW64. I then restarted the system.

I am now getting a new error. It reads "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click ok to close the application." After searching the web it seems there are various issues that can cause this error. Most are probably in reference to a regular PC, so I figured I could maybe save some time by posting to this forum.

Thanks for your time everyone

An application missing Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library is a fairly common scene.
Check your image library system requirements (e.g., VC++ runtime version number.)

Then Google search the runtime distributaion download from Microsoft official site.
Download n install the entire package, not just the .dll file.

Update: Sony told me to download the latest version of Visual C++ libraries and it worked. Imaging edge is up and running on the Lattepanda.

Thanks @ccs_hello
