and after creating 'LIGHT smart phone' bluetooth device. It has happened unexpectedly, inadvertently. I am in hurry to fetch this good news, so I did not investigated yet how does it happened. Unfortunately, I'm not linux expert, so, guys please help me to investigate this effect.

But perhaps the appearing of HDMI audio is not due to bluetooth. After turning bluetooth off it doesn't disappeared. Maybe it's due to installing pavucontrol. LattePanda's patch contains some audio staff, so may it be that this staff somehow enabled audio on my configuration.

Hi, ChrisPanda!
Try this. Insert installation disk ubuntu-mate-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso into USB and turn LattePanda on. You will see the prompt 'try without installing or install'. Choose 'Something else', create volume>=15GB and install Mate. This process does not require Win bootloader. If this works, then all is right, and you only need to find installable Win distro. And... do you really need Windows?

Hi, guys!
New 'scientific experiment' has shown, that after new installation of ubuntu-mate-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso and applying the patch, given by LattePanda Site Admin, HDMI audio works immediately. So it's not due to anything else. Thanks LattePanda, it's great patch!

Hi, CrisPanda!
How are your doings on Win installation? Have you tried <F7> to redirect booting to your installation disk? I'm very interested in your results, because I want to delete Win10 to clear the place, but I'm afraid to do this. LattePanda's BIOS is freak. In normal machines Linux installer inserts MBR on disk and BIOS looks for it. But in LattePanda Linux installer don't touch MBR, but somehow inserts bootloader into Windows Boot Manager. So, to see Linux, you must first boot Win10 and insert grubx64.efi into Windows Boot Manager, as Matt has shown it in
http://www.dfrobot.com.cn/community/for ... &tid=27266

Matt writes about ubuntu-16.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso on Z8350. On my Z8300 4/64 this distro does not work (freeze on attempt to change desktop background), but ubuntu-mate-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso works nice.

But what will happen after deleting Win10? Will Linux installer insert MBR on disk, or LattePanda will become completely unusable? I'm afraid to delete Win10, but you alrealy have done it. Please tell us, what are the results.

Hi Ternarous, did you mean to delete the win10 and install the Ubuntu ?
I guess you can , only Ubuntu runs on LattePanda without win10.
I have tested the ubuntu-16.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso on Z8350 4G/64G, but only wifi and internet can works well. :)

Hi, Coco Xia. Yes, I mean to erase /dev/mmcblk0 completely, create partition and instal Ubuntu. But I'm not sure, will it boot without Win10 bootloader. Why, damn it, Ubuntu installer inserts its grubx64.efi into Windows Boot Manager? What will it do without Windows Boot Manager? I wouldn't like to end up with an unusable device. In any case we can command Ubuntu isntaller to place MBR onto USB flash device, I already have experimented with this scenario, but it's somewhat unnatural. I don't want to play linux guru and be so sharp as to cut myself. Are there any traditional, well trodden ways?

Hi, you can delete windows 10 and Install Linux to the LattePanda.
The BIOS will boot into the Linux.
But there still have some functions (Linux system) cannot work on LattePanda .
We still working on it , but seems no progress :(
