Hi, LattePanda!
I've already repaired my booting by making ESP, as given in
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFI
All works fine! Many thanks!

Hi, LattePanda.
Unfortunately, I can't perform thorough testing. As for bluetooth, I didn't touched it yet. As for HDMI audio, only mono works, there is no stereo, but it doesn't disturb me. Other guys must be drawn in.
Hey, men! What's your woes?

I would like to advertise the method of eradicating. Suppose, someone asks you for help, but you can't help him, because you don't know his situation, configuration, etc. For example, when ChrisPanda appeared stuck with Win, we couldn't understand what is going on in his machine. In such cases I propose to begin from the very begining. We may recommend:
1) Create somehow Ubuntu Startup Disk and boot with it.
2) Erase all LattePanda's /dev/mmcblk0.
3) Create ESP via GParted, choose Install Ubuntu and choose Something Else.
This scenario will surely be succesfull.

But remains the problem of distros. I've probed many distributives on my Z3800, but only few of them have worked. Lubuntu amd64 16.04.3, Lubuntu amd64 17.04. Lubuntu amd64 17.10, Ubuntu amd64 16.04.2, kubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso, xubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso, ubuntu-16.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso, ubuntu-16.04-desktop-amd64.iso, ubuntu-16.04-1-desktop-amd64.iso, ubuntu-mate-16.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso -- all of them haven't started at all.
ubuntu-mate-16.04.2-desktop-amd64.is at first installed, but freezed after attempt to change desktop background.
Only 2 are working:
Lubuntu amd64 16.04.1 works not too bad, but there are some problems: in Eclipse, WindowBuilder freezes the screen and some gui controls are painted incorrectly.
Only ubuntu-mate-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso works ideally, at least I don't see any problems.
Why so gruesome results?
Especially Ubuntu amd64 16.04, other guys say it's working, but it doesn't install on my machine. Why? All this experiments were conducted before erasing Windows Boot Manager. My Win10 was unlicensed and began to disable some functions, may it be damaging for installation process?

Hi, LattePanda!
I've tried to install ubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso once more, this time after creating ESP by Mate. The same. The system doesn't booted. Even more, booting of Mate, placed in another partition, get ruined, but get restored after one more installation of Mate in another partition. I think, ubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso conflicts with ESP, created by Mate.

New experiments have corroborated pevious results:
Ubuntu-mate works only when both 1) ESP was created via Mate 2) Last installation was via Mate.
ubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso doesn't work in any case, even if ESP was created via it.
It's strange. I didn't expect it.
Hence, Win Boot Manager was not guilty. Nevertheless, I'm glad that I erased it. It was useless.

Hi, LattePanda!
New experiments:
lubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso installs and boots on Mate's ESP
and vice versa
ubuntu-mate-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso installs and boots on Lubuntu's ESP.
Hence, there were no conflicts. All the blame is on ubuntu-16.04-1-desktop-amd64.iso, which damaged others ESPs and boots.
It's good news. All works as expected.
I apologise for flooding the site, I would better conduct all experiments and present final prooved results at once, but so it is.

Hi, LattePanda!
I would like to report on some problems with HDMI audio when running the Java programs.

Machine is Z3800 4/64 with ubuntu-mate-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso installed and ubuntu16.04_patch_20170223.tar.gz patch applied.
Java classes sun.audio and javax.sound.sampled were tested.

The problem is that when Java program plays audio files than in most cases an unexpected results are happening, such as freezing GUI and even completely ruining the whole patch, including Wifi and Bluetooth. I think than guilty is LP and patch, but not JVM, for following reasons:
1) On the Sempron CPU the same runnable JARs work well.
2) The log file reports that the crashes happen in native code.
3) Java audio classes are thoroughly tested by Oracle and on other machines work perfectly.
I would like to send log file and source codes, but I have not found your email address and could not attach file to 'Send private message' page.

LP is splendid! Especially I like an absence of annoying buzzing. After eliminating few remaining problems it would be an ideal machine!
