Warranty Claim?

My Latte arrived from the Kickstarter round.
I have put it into the wood case, but it is unusable.
I am using a high quality USB cable, and also a iPhone charger (12w). However it seems to just turn off after a few minutes.
Then it doesn't want to turn on again for 1hour...
I am guessing that it is getting very hot.
Is there anything I can try? I have not been able to track down a returns/refund process.
Your help would be appreciated.
