I tried earlier different versions of Ubuntu, but faced the HDMI and mouse pointer, as already explained, so, stopped there.

Finally, just installed CentOS 7.4 on a dual partition, and it works fine, so far.
No mouse ghost, and only 1 screen is detected. Wrong resolution, but at least, I don't have the HDMI display issue...

In case, I can participate/help to package Arduino IDE into RPM if one can give me a pointer ...

Sounds like really a cool project! Seems like more cost-effective. Can you show a video of your digital organ? can not wait to see how it work.

I am using my LP inside an organ console, together with a midi encoder and USB soundcard, in order to create my own custom digital organ. It will cost a fraction of the cost compared to a commercial digital organ, e.g. Allen digital organ. I am not saying it is a replacement for an Allen organ, but it makes for an excellent home organ. I run vArranger2 and jOrgan on the LP. The purpose of this project is to allow me to play theatre organ, classical organ, drawbar organ, and arranger style keyboard. So I have created a musical instrument. Very musical exciting project.
