LattePanda w/o binary blob / proprietary software?

I know this board was made with windows in mind, but is it possible to run it without any proprietary software and binary blob? Thanks in advance, I've been searching everywhere for this answer.

Also, as a bonus question for +500, what is this boards connection to the pandaboard, if any?
