KInect 1 on LP

has anyone managed to successfuly use Kinect 1 on LP ?
I've seen a tutorial for this so I guess its possible, but even on my 4 GB RAM version if I plug Kinect to USB, I instantly get "Not enough USB controller resources" and if I run anything on Windows 10, LP pops and instantly shutsdown.
Any help here greatly appreciated,
