Booting the Default BIOS from an SD card instead of a U-Disk

Is it possible to boot the default bios from an SDHC card? I imagine using the software that is already on the GitHub. I am having some Wi Fi issues with one of my LP's and I feel that restoring the LP to the point where I pulled it out of the box for the first time would put me in a better spot. Please Help!
