Issue working with the Arduino

1) The Com port seems to change from COM3 to COM6 while working with it.

Is there a patch for this?

But the onboard Arduino integrated on LattePanda, do have two com ports when using. COM6 should be a virtual serial port for data communication, however the COM3 is managing the firmware upgrading.

I think the LattePanda onboard driver is not perfect. You can download the latest Arduino IDE and update the drive manually, which could be helpful to fix some potential problems as I know.

Try install the arduino leonardo for it , then it will be fastened in COM6 and change to COM3 when reset the Arduino part. THEN you can set the COM port number to COM3 in setting
