Connect to LattePanda Arduino from remote PC?

I'm working on a project where it's much easier to develop my application on an external (separate PC) than the Atom built in to the LattePanda. I have a sketch running on the Arduino but want to connect via COM port to an external PC to transfer data. Is this possible...?
