Power off abruptly the system

Hi all,

I'm thinking on using a LattePanda in a portable system.
The portable system will be plugged to the network, power... using a special cable.
The portable system will be used by non IT people.
The weight is very important so no batteries are foreseen.

My question:

If I unplug directly the lattepanda system, will the FBWF* system be a good method to avoid any damage?

Is there any other option?

Any hint?
