BRICKED! RESOLVED! :-)

Question

I was following the auto power up BIOS thread.
I was up to the first successful load of the new BIOS, I pressed "Ctrl+Alt+Del" and now I only have a blank screen.
It has the red flashing LED and the blue comes on but no fan.

Any other options out there?

I really want to save this board from the bin.

If you have bricked a 864s.

You will need a CH341A BIOS programmer.
Download AsProgrammer 1.4.1
Set to Winbond 25q64fv chip
Erase chip first
Load CDJQ-BS-7-S70KR300-KF65A-101-J.BIN
Write and verify
Power cycle, all should be good now

If you have bricked a 864s.

You will need a CH341A BIOS programmer.
Download AsProgrammer 1.4.1
Set to Winbond 25q64fv chip
Erase chip first
Load CDJQ-BS-7-S70KR300-KF65A-101-J.BIN
Write and verify
Power cycle, all should be good now

I&#x27;m tracking down the gear to do the BIOS reprogram, can you confirm the 864s has the Winbond 25q64fvsig chip that requires 1.8V?

Sorry, the BIOS file is for Alpha 864(Alpha old version). we have updated the tutorial now.

Please check the default BIOS for Alpha 864s in this link, and save your board.

Also tried holding the power and reset button for 20 sceonds method.
