The UPS is actually a sub-project of my major project using lattepanda. My major project requires no sudden power unplugged that may either cause my app crashed, or the windows is unable to restart as normal.
The UPS PCB has exactly the same footprint as the Lattepanda, that has 4 through mounting holes allowing the PCB easily stacked to the top of the Lattepanda PCB.
The UPS PCB has edges cutouts that allow all Lattepanda connectivity available.
The UPS only needs one 18650 x 3000mAx Li-ion Battery, with full charged and normal Windows app the battery has valid discharge 30min+
The UPS is equipped an auto power path controller, allowing AC adapter freely plug/unplug, you have worry free with power plug/unplug due to battery and AC adapter are seamlessly switched.
The UPS only consumes 2uA when Lattepanda shuts down.
