Damaged LP when connecting the IPS screen

Unfortunately, due to my distraction, I started plugging the IPS screen connector into the Lattepand Sigma 3 with the power on. The ALC269 chip burnt... When the screen is connected, the computer does not start, the diodes do not light up. When I disconnect the screen however, everything seems to be working properly.
If I don't use this screen, should I still worry about this damaged chip? Thank you for your help.
