LP Iota not powering-on after wifi card install

Hio,

My son saved up for LP Iota. Installed a WiFi card on Saturday and it has not powered-on at all. What could be causing this? And do you think it is repairable? What should we be looking for in terms of damage.

what kind of wifi card do you use? please give the specific model number. And have you tested if the wifi card can work with other devices? if possible, please also provide some pictures of your configuration.
