Best Way to Balance Power and Cooling on LattePanda for 24/7 Projects?

I have been working with LattePanda for a small always-on project (home server + sensor logging) and I wanted to ask about something I think many beginners struggle with power efficiency vs cooling. From what I understand:
==> Running at full performance gives better speed but creates more heat
==> Lower power settings reduce heat but can affect stability over long periods
My questions are:
==> What settings do you usually adjust for 24/7 usage? (CPU limits, BIOS, OS tweaks?)
==> Do you prefer active cooling (fan) or passive cooling for long-term reliability?
==> Has anyone tested long uptime (weeks/months) without performance drops?
I’m trying to find a balance where the system is stable, quiet, and doesn’t overheat. Would really appreciate hearing your real-world setups and lessons learned.
Thanks in advance!
