Help! hard reset my bios

I currently own a Lattepanda iota board and had been working with it for a few days; using Ubuntu as the operating system. Several days later when I went to use it again; the board would not turn on. The lights don't even light up when trying to power it on.

I saw online about needing to hard reset the bios but the instructions to do so are difficult to understand because my attempts were unsuccessful.
