No red light

LattePanda was connected to LCD screen and touch display.
Mounted in a 3D printed LP centered display by wilde.
It took several attempts to get the red light on.
Then i could start the LP and get Windows running for about 10 minutes.
Shut down for dinner. After these 10 minutes the LP was quite hot.
After about 2 hours i tried again, no red light at all!!! Tried several other USB cables, no result.
What the problem?
