[LattePanda Alpha] HDMI sound output only stereo?

i have a problem with the audio output over hdmi. When i choose audio via hdmi on my lcd tv there is only a stereo signal no HD or 5.1.
My connection:
LattePanda Alpha via HDMI on my Samsung LCD -> LCD via optical out to my digital receiver.
Do i need other driver or what else can i check?
