LP windows reinstallation corrupted and hangs
jl543 2021-01-12 05:28:16 1228 Views1 Replies LP CR200 Z8350 developed a problem booting windows 10 and I could get to the recovery mode and tried recovery of windows installation from onboard flash drive. It passed to the point where the windows installation progress circle was shown and then the screen went blank prematurely. Then I rebooted to find that the "Preparing..." step ended up in an error message dialog box saying:
"The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation."
And the LP reboots and repeats this again. Clicking "OK" resulted in the same.
I can still get into the BIOS settings upon reboot but I don't know how to go to the OS recovery mode again. Any help please?
